The Dance Programme at the Berkeley Institute is set to perform “#Trending,” a student-choreographed dance showcase inspired by the influence of social media on daily life, on Wednesday, March 27th.
A spokesperson said, “Social Media is an integral aspect of our daily lives, even more so with our youth. This is the inspiration behind ‘#Trending’ presented by the Dance Programme at The Berkeley Institute, which will be held on Wednesday, March 27th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in The Berkeley Institute Cafetorium.
“This Student Choreographed Dance Showcase features student choreography by dancers enrolled in the Dance classes at The Berkeley Institute. The student choreographers have taken extra time outside of class to audition fellow dancers, teach and lead their peers in rehearsals. Dance Instructor Nikia Manders has guided the student choreographer’s to showcase their work as part of their Dance Production class and performance grade.
