Footballers in both the Premier Division and First Division were in action this weekend, with the North Village Rams, Devonshire Cougars, Devonshire Colts, and Robin Hood all earning wins.

Premier Division

Young Men Social Club 0 – North Village Rams 5

At the Police Field, the North Village Rams went to the top of the premier division standings with a 5 – 0 win over Young Men Social Club.

The North Village Rams took control of the match early with two goals from D’Andre Wainwright and a single strike from Jalen Harvey, earning them a 3 – 0 lead at the break.

Harvey added his second and a strike from Pierre Smith earned them the big win.

Hamilton Parish 3 – Somerset Trojans 3

At the Wellington Oval, the Somerset Trojans kept their premier division survival hopes alive with a 3 – 3 draw with Hamilton Parish.

The Somerset Trojans held a 1 – 0 lead at the break through a first half goal from Keyni Mills.

A wild second half saw five goals scored. Mills added two more goals in the half before completing his hat trick in stoppage time, and Hamilton Parish got single strikes from Justin Bell and Leroy Lewis, as well as an own goal.

Devonshire Cougars 5 – St. George’s Colts 2

At the Devonshire Recreation Club, the Devonshire Cougars defeated the St. George’s Colts 5 – 2.

The Devonshire Cougars got a hat trick from Elisha Darrell and two strikes from Domico Coddington, while the St. George’s Colts got single strikes from Blaiz Hall and Manoj Paynter.

First Division

Devonshire Colts 3 – Wolves 1

At the Police Field, the Devonshire Colts defeated Wolves 3 – 1 to win their 15th consecutive league match.

Sekai Tatem scored the lone goal in the first half to give Devonshire Colts a 1 – 0 lead.

Morriko Iris equalized for Wolves in the 49th minute, but Keino Burch put the Devonshire Colts back in front in the 69th minute. In the 90th minute, Chermal Henry made it 3 – 1 when he scored from the spot.

Somerset Eagles 3 – Southampton Rangers 3

At the White Hill Field, the Somerset Eagles and Southampton Rangers drew 3 – 3.

Somerset Eagles got two goals from Nathan Rego and a 40-yard strike from Jacob Estis, while Malachi Jones scored twice for the Southampton Rangers and Donte Brangman added the other.

Robin Hood 3 – Vasco 0

At the BAA Field, Robin Hood defeated Vasco 3 – 0. Robin Hood got two goals from Zias Smith and a single strike from Alexander Lipinski.
