And so it continues. All of these new E buses on the road. What happened to the serviceable diesel buses? Parked in a back corner somewhere to rot away?
We have not been told, but your suspicion seems plausible.
No details were provided on the 30 or so buses that are out of commission for a variety of reasons. How many e-busses and how many MAN diesel works everywhere in the world for hundreds of thousands of miles except in Bermuda?
Just remember, electric vehicles damaged in accidents are being scrapped as unrepairable.
The bigger question that only I seem to be asking is, why is the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service unprepared, untrained, and unequipped to put out an EV fire? One e-bus fire will ruin everyone’s day!
