Monologue Slam Event At Bungalow 56

Actors will perform monologues from television shows, movies and plays at Bungalow 56 in Hamilton on Saturday [March 30].

A Monologue Slam, presented by Acting For Film BDA and sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Culture, runs from 8.30 pm to 10 pm.

The monologues will be judged by Felix Obas, a filmmaker and director, Lucinda Spurling, a writer and director, and Hafiz Shakur, a producer and director.

A prize of $1,000 and a speaking role in a new local TV series will be awarded to the winner and the runner-up will win a scholarship for acting classes at Acting For Film BDA and a speaking role in the TV series.

All contestants will be placed on a local directory for future casting opportunities.
