Youth Footballers Selected For Honours
Five local youth footballers have been selected for their National Surf Select age group teams after impressing at the recent Surf Nation Champions League in San Diego, California, last month.
Nyori Dill has been selected to the 2010 Surf National Select boy’s white team and invited to attend the Surf Cup International Morocco tournament in Tanger, Morocco, from August 1 to 4. Roman Wilkinson has been selected to the standby reserve list.
Jack Fisher has been selected to the 2009 Surf National Select white boys’ team and invited to attend the Royal Pre-Season Cup in London, England, from August 13 to 19.
Meanwhile, Keori Binns Leverock and Jahzion Taylor have been picked for the 2008 Surf National Select white boys’ team and invited to attend the Manchester City Cup in San Diego, California, from July 6 to 8.
And Ayshalay Simons has been selected for the 2008 Surf National Select white girls’ team and invited to play at the Crossfire Challenge College Showcase in Redmond, Washington, from July 12 to 15.
The players are all part of the International Development Academy Bermuda.
