Bermuda Sailors Continue In Mallorca
The Princess Sofia Trophy Regatta continued taking place in Palma, Mallorca, with more than 1,700 sailors, coaches, and support staff from 70 nations including Bermuda taking part.
Adriana Penruddoke is competing against 116 sailors in the ILCA 6 fleet, she is in 48th place after 6 races with 132 net points. Penruddoke’s best finish came in the first race of the series when she crossed the line 16th.
After six races in the ILCA 7 fleet, Sebastian Kempe fell 26 places from his starting position of 16th place to come off the water 42nd with 92 net points. Kempe’s best finish has been 2nd in the 3rd race.
Campbell Patton moved up 20 places to 69th place with 98 net points, with a best finish of 2nd in the sixth race, and Benn Smith moved up 41 spots to finish the day in 143rd with 171 net points, he has a 2nd-place finish in the fifth race as his best thus far.
