BDA Spirits Take 1-0 Series Lead In Ball Hockey
BDA Spirits took a 1 – 0 Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League Play-Off Series lead edging Appleby 5 – 4 in overtime at the PCC Hockey Rink.
At the end of the first period, the game was tied at 2 – 2, JM Tremblay and Hart Freedman scored a goal each for BDA Spirits, while James Amaral and Shannon Gosse scored a goal each for Appleby.
Both teams would score a goal in the second period with Gosse scoring his second of the match for Appleby, and Robbie Bailey scored for BDA Spirits.
In the third period Bailey scored for the BDA Spirits, before Ryan Marshall leveled the match at 4 – 4 for Appleby.
Alex Larouche would score the winner for BDA Spirits in overtime.
