IQUW Open Professional Squash Semi-Finals
The IQUW Bermuda Open Professional Squash Association 2024 Tournament moved into the semi-final stage at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire.
World No. 76 Sanjay Jeeva continued his march towards the top 50 with a spot in the Bermuda Open Final.
Second seed Jeeva defeated the seventh seed Edgar Ramirez 3 – 0 in 42 minutes 11-7, 11-9, 11-9.
The other men’s semi-final lasted 95 minutes as the sixth seed Andres Herrera defeated the fourth seed Matias Knudsen 3 – 2, Herrera won 10-12, 10-12, 11-8, 11-5, 11-9.
Fourth seed Ingy Hammouda advanced to the final after she defeated the second seed Laura Tovar 3 – 0 in 22 minutes, 11-6, 11-5, 11-6.
Unseeded Margot Prow edged the third seed Catalina Pelaez 3 – 2 in their 53-minute battle to earn a spot in the final winning 5-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7, 12-10.
