PLP Thanks Community After Easter Event
The PLP Devonshire and Smith’s Branches 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 extended “thanks to the entire community for coming out and helping to make their first annual Easter Fun Day a success.”
A spokesperson said, “Persons from both around the community and the island brought their pop up chairs and children to enjoy free food, face painting, fun castles, Easter egg hunt, Easter Bags and Gombeys. This event represents a continuation of events that C 9, C10, C11, C12 and C13 have put on to keep the Devonshire and Smith’s communities united as one.”
PLP candidate for Constituency 10 Smith’s South Senator Lindsay Simmons remarked, “My colleagues and I were pleased to be able to add some fun and joy to the families from our constituencies during this holy weekend.
“On behalf of Minister Diallo Rabain, Minister Vance Campbell, MP Chris Famous and our respective Branches, we would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter and upcoming weeks. You may look forward to more community events during the summer.”
