Ministry: Warns Of False Social Media Ad

The Ministry of Education issued a warning about a false social media ad which claims that “the Ministry of Education offers online classes and encourages individuals to apply via the provided links.”

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Education has advised all social media users that the attached image and link are fake. Persons are strongly urged to refrain from clicking on the provided advert link.

“This false advertisement claims that the Ministry of Education offers online classes and encourages individuals to apply via the provided links.”

A Ministry of Education spokesperson said, “We’ve received reports of individuals attempting to use this link. We want to ensure that no one else falls for this deceptive advert. The Ministry of Education does not offer online classes.

“If you are looking to advance your career, visit www.college.bm to explore the offerings at Bermuda College. Discover various degree and continuing education courses designed to help you succeed. In 2017 the newly elected Government fulfilled its pledge to provide financial support to ensure all Bermudians, regardless of financial status, have access to programmes at the Bermuda College.”
