St. David’s Cricket Club, St. Georges Cricket Club, Warwick Workmen’s Club, and Flatt’s Victoria all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier and First Division cricket action.

Premier Division

St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 110 Runs: St. David’s Cricket Club 225 Bailey’s Bay 115

St. David’s Cricket Club earned early bragging rights against Eastern County rivals, as they came away with a 110-run victory.

Batting first St. David’s scored 225 after 47.1 overs, Ricardo Brangman was the top scorer with 44, while Michael Agard was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 10.-1-31-3.

In reply Bailey’s Bay was bowled out for 115, Terryn Fray was the top scorer with 30, Derrick Brangman was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 10-1-29-4.

St. Georges Cricket Club Won by 176 Runs: St. George’s Cricket Club 280/9 Western Stars 104

The St. George’s Cricket Club moved to 2 & 0 in the standings following their 176-run victory over Western Stars at the Sea Breeze Oval.

Macai Simmons was the top scorer with 95, which came off 100 balls, he hit 5 fours and 5 sixes, he shared a 69-run 8th wicket partnership with Zeko Burgess who added 56 off 24 balls, he hit 2 fours and 7 sixes. Kamau Leverock was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 10-0-97-3.

In reply Western Stars were bowled out for 104, Jamori Manders was the top scorer with 21, Burgess returned figures of 6.3-1-27-4.

First Division

Warwick Workmen’s Club Win by 5 Wickets: Somerset Bridge 127 Warwick Workmen’s Club 128/5

At the White Hill Field, Warwick Workmen’s moved to 2 & 0 on the season following their 5-wicket victory over Somerset Bridge.

Batting first Somerset Bridge was bowled out for 127, opener Donnie Charles was the top scorer with 27, and Kwasi James was the pick of the Warwick workmen’s bowlers with figures of 8-3-12-3.

In reply Warwick Workmen’s Club scored 128/5, Shonari Boyles-Simons was the top scorer with 37, Shawn Riley was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers returning figures of 6-0-29-3.

Flatt’s Victoria Won by 6 Wickets: Devonshire Recreation Club 165 Flatt’s Victoria 166/4

At the Wellington Oval, Flatt’s Victoria defeated the Devonshire Recreation Club by 6 wickets.

Devonshire Recreation Club was bowled out for 165, Drewonde Bascome was the top scorer with 44, Sai Kumar was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 6-1-25-3, Nekoda Bascome bowled 5-0-47-3.

In reply Flatt’s Victoria scored 166/4, Kijuan Franks was the top scorer with 65, his runs came off 56 balls, he hit 13 fours and 1 six.
