BNA Summer League: North Village & BPSU Win
A Bermuda Netball Association summer league co-ed division double-header took place at Bernard’s Park.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Goal Diggers 25 – 17. The North Village Lady Rams got 13 goals from Jordyn Morris and 12 goals from Darrika Simons. The best attacker was Shi Jennings, while the best defender was Quinn Simmons, and Nacori Smith was named the team’s MVP.
The Goal Diggers got 9 goals from best attacker Zahnae Simmons-Smith, Jahmir Hatherley added 6 goals, and Lyndon Guiseppi scored once. The best defender was Alex Mason, and the MVP was Kiante Lightbourne.
In the other match, BPSU defeated Front Street Mafia 21 – 14. Best attacker Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 12 goals, Charlene Bogle added 6 goals, and Jahmari Lewis-Trott scored 3 times. The best defender was Jahmari Lewis-Trott, and the MVP was Felix Lasanta.
Front Street Mafia got 12 goals from Charlotte Evans, and Conor McCrossan scored twice, the team’s best attacker was Jana Philips, the best defender was Jesse Marshall, and Charlie Evans was the MVP.
