Football: Dandy Stars Brown & Trojans Win
The Bermuda Football Association’s Women’s League had another doubleheader at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence Field, with 6 goals scored on the night.
Dandy Stars Brown 3 – Dandy Stars Gold 2
The Brown team won the battle of the Stars, as the Dandy Stars Brown edged the Dandy Stars Gold 3 – 2.
The Dandy Stars Gold went ahead in the 4th minute when Khalila Daley scored, but four minutes later Donte Allen equalized for the Dandy Stars Brown. Daley gave the Gold the lead again in the 16th minute as they took a 2 – 1 lead to the break.
Alanna Burchell leveled the score at 2 – 2 in the 41st minute scoring for the Brown and then in the 61st minute Jenay Edness Gomez scored what proved to be the winner for the Brown.
Somerset Lady Trojans 1 – PHC Lady Zebras 0
After a scoreless first half, the lone goal of the game came in the 67th minute through an own goal.
