Sports Academy Camp At Saltus Next Month
A sports programme aiming to help the growth of the island’s student-athletes will be held at Saltus Grammar School next month.
The Life Through Sport academy is for boys and girls aged 9 to 16 and will run from 9 am to 3 pm between July 1 to July 26.
Participants will learn techniques and skills to become top student-athletes and receive GCSE prep, Sat prep, life skills, and university prep.
John Barry Nusum, a teacher at Saltus and a Bermuda national team assistant football coach, is helping run the programme.
“This programme has been established to help the growth of our student/athletes through preparation and training,” Nusum wrote on Facebook.
“Our goal is to assist the student-athletes with the right tools to succeed in school and life, through sport.”
