Verissimo Takes Line Honors In Annapolis
The 2024 version of the Annapolis to Bermuda Ocean Race saw boats cross the finish line off St. David’s Head completing the 753-mile course to Bermuda, making it one of the longest ocean races on the east coast of the U.S.
The challenging course combined inshore and offshore racing down the Chesapeake Bay, across the Gulfstream, and onto Bermuda.
Verissimo owned and skippered by John Haiges took the line honors, Barry Salter’s Harmony crossed the line second, while Aurora owned and skippered by Brett Mastropieri was third across the line.
