DeSilva-Andrade Reaches Final In Portugal
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade has reached the final of the Povoa World Boccia Cup in Portugal and will face Brazil’s Andreza De Oliveira for the gold medal today [July 13].
DeSilva-Andrade, who competes in the women’s BC1 Division, beat Dora Basic, of Croatia, 12-0 in the semi-final yesterday.
The Bermudian is warming up for the Paralympic Games in Paris, which will be held from August 28 to September 8.
