HPWC Announces ’293 Excellence Fund’
Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club announced the establishment of the ’293 Excellence Fund.’
A spokesperson said, “This award, aimed at fostering academic excellence, will be awarded for the first time in July 2025 to deserving student-athletes from the Hamilton Parish community.
“The 293 Excellence Fund is designed to support student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, leadership skills, and a commitment to their community. The fund aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens of higher education, enabling student athletes to pursue their academic goals and contribute positively to society.
“We are thrilled to launch the 293 Excellence Fund,” said Nandi Outerbridge, President of HPWC. “Our community is filled with talented and ambitious young individuals, and we are excited to provide them with the resources they need to succeed. This award represents our commitment to investing in the future leaders of our island.”
