Man Injured In Collision In St. George’s
A 50-year-old man has been transported to hospital for treatment after a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in St. George’s.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 9:00pm on Saturday 24th, August 2024, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a serious single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, on Southside Road, St. George’s in the vicinity of the old White’s Supermarket.
“Details surrounding the circumstances of this collision is limited at this time, however, the victim, believed to be a 50yr old man, has been transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. Those injuries have been described as life threatening.
“Traffic is being diverted onto St. David’s Road whilst police process the scene.
“Witnesses to this collision are being asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 211, if you have not already been in contact with police.”
