Ministry: Labour Day Waste Collection Schedule
The Ministry of Public Works advises that due to the Labour Day holiday, household waste that would usually be collected on Monday, 2 September, will instead be collected on Tuesday, 3 September.
A Government spokesperson said, “All household waste collection that week will follow the “roll-over” pattern and be delayed by one day, culminating with Friday’s waste being collected on Saturday.
“Please note that this is not a recycling collection week.
“The Tynes Bay Public Drop-off will open on the Labour Day Holiday from 9 a.m. until noon and will resume regular operating hours from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily afterwards.
