BNAA Hold Cross Country Season Opener
The Bermuda National Athletic Association 2024 Cross Country Season got underway with Swans hosting a meet at the Arboretum.
Jake Smith won the 17-19 Men’s 3 Mile Run clocking a time of 17:59.85, while Rose-Anna Hoey won the Women 40-49 Age Group Division racing over 3 Miles with a time of 21:24.33, Dem Salter was second in 23:24.94, and Ashanti Caesar was third clocking 34:12.49.
The 14-16 Women’s Age Group Division 2 Mile Run distance was won by Amiras Munya who clocked 14:02.25, Kelise Wade was second in 14:31.13, and Azari Jones finished third with a time of 15:21.28.
Sanchez Smith race to victory in the 14-16 Men’s Division over a 2 Mile Run distance clocking 11:19.68, Tobiah Goodchild was second in 11:41.86, and Nazir Johnson finished third clocking 12:45.85.
