BFA: North Village Used An ‘Ineligible Player’
The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] said that “it has been ruled that North Village CC used an ineligible player during the Dudley Eve match on Sunday, September 15, 2024.”
A spokesperson said, “In this regard, North Village CC has been adjudged to have breached the BFA Disciplinary Code Article 39: Ineligible Players under Sanctions against the winning team fielding an ineligible player:
“Sanctions against the winning team fielding an ineligible player:
- “a. Forfeiture of the match
- “b. 3-0 awarded to opposing team
“The score of 3-0 shall be recorded in favor of the losing team [Young Men’s Social Club].”
