Charities Encouraged To Apply For Funding
Local charities are invited to submit applications for funding from the 2025 Convex End-to-End event.
A spokesperson said, “All applications should be submitted electronically by 5 PM on October 31, 2024. The 2025 Convex End-to-End will allocate proceeds to four charitable programmes.”
Theresa Hall, End-to-End Charity Liason said, “This year, we’re thrilled to announce a new online application process through BermudaTix, making it easier for charities to submit their proposals.”
The spokesperson said, “Bermuda charities are encouraged to complete the online application form available at the following link: here or via the bermudaendtoend.bm website.”
New Board Chair, Christen Styche, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, “We are excited to kick off the grant application process for 2025 and can’t wait to see the impactful projects charities will propose. The Convex End-to-End event is vital in supporting organisations making a meaningful difference in our community.”
Ms. Styche added, “We are honoured to have Convex as our title sponsor for another year. Their ongoing support enables us to organize a great event with proceeds used to help even more local charities thrive.”
The spokesperson said, “This year’s event provided funding to six deserving charities: Raleigh International, Action on Alzheimer’s and Dementia [now Dementia Bermuda], Transformational Living Centre, WindReach, the Coalition for the Protection of Children, and Transitional Community Services.
Additional funding was also awarded to St John’s Ambulance, the Horticultural Skills Programme, and the Bermuda High School for Girls – the top participating school.
“On May 3rd, 2025, walkers, cyclists, and rowers will unite for the 38th annual End-to-End, traversing the scenic route from St. George’s Town Square to Dockyard.”
Ms. Hall added, “Please note that once you start the new BermudaTix application process, your work cannot be saved for later completion. However, you will receive an email copy of your application once submitted. To facilitate your submission, we’ve included a PDF version of the application to help you prepare in advance. Late applications will not be accepted.”
“For the 2025 End-to-End event, we are excited to support four deserving local charities as beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts and look forward to learning more about the incredible work that our charities do!”
The spokesperson said, “If you encounter any issues with the End-to-End Charity Grant Application, please reach out to Theresa Hall, Charity Liaison, at charities@bermudaendtoend.bm.”
