Cyclists Compete In Green Mountain Stage 2
Three Bermuda cyclists continued their campaign at the Green Mountain Stage Race in Vermont on Saturday, taking on the challenges of Stage 2′s circuit race.
In the men’s category 4/5 division, Daniel Ringer finished 44th with a time of 1:28:42. Ringer notably led the chasing pack, which crossed the finish line 1 minute and 2 seconds behind the leading group.
In the women’s pro/1/2/3 division, Liana De Medeiros and Pansy Olander both clocked the same time as stage winner Katherine Rusch, who finished in 3:10:18. Olander was officially ruled 17th, while De Medeiros placed 22nd.
