Gilbert & Sullivan: ‘Magic Of The Musicals 2′

The Gilbert and Sullivan Society will host “Magic of the Musicals 2″ at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium from October 3-12.

A spokesperson said, “Get ready for a dazzling celebration that brings together the most beloved moments from stage history, blending current showstoppers with timeless classics live at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium. This must-see production will run from October 3rd to October 12th, 2024 and promises to sweep theatregoers off their feet with spectacular, high-energy choreographed numbers that will leave audiences spellbound alongside breathtaking solo performances that showcase the beauty of the genre. With a diverse array of everyone’s favorite songs spanning from the bright lights of Broadway to the charm of London’s West End, this production promises an unforgettable journey through the heart of musical theatre!

“Produced by the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Bermuda, the production features a talented cast of local actors with 60+ adults, teens and children. The first Magic of the Musicals was a roaring success in 2016, and while audiences can expect to see some familiar faces and hear some familiar voices, this production will be an entirely new experience that cannot be missed.”

This is a big change from past years but our event was one that was affected by the sudden cancellation of events at City Hall.

“We are so grateful that there was availability at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium and that they have worked with us so that we can ensure that the show will go on. With only 3 weeks until opening night, it is not an exaggeration to say that they have saved the show! The actors and production team continue to work hard, ensuring that we will put on a great show for the community.
