Howes Team Wins Bulldog Byron Plapp Invite
The Bolles School girls’ swimming team, which includes Marleigh Howes, captured the 2024 Bulldog Byron Plapp Invite Women’s Division title with a total of 811 points.
Howes contributed to the team’s success with several strong individual performances. She placed 8th in the 200-yard freestyle preliminaries (2:02.75) and improved her time to 2:01.56 in the A-final, finishing 10th. In the 100-yard freestyle, Howes clocked a 55.40 in the preliminaries, securing the 13th fastest time. She also swam the second leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay, helping Bolles to a 4th place finish in 1:42.62.
