North Shore Road Single-Lane Closure
The Ministry of Public Works advised “that the westbound lane from Shelly Bay Marketplace to Radnor Road, on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, will be closed.:
A Government spokesperson said, “This closure will facilitate trench works by Island Construction to install a water line. The single-lane closure will be effective from Tuesday, 17 September 2024, through Monday, 30 September 2024, with daily working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“Island Construction will manage traffic using traffic lights, stop-and-go signs, and cones. Motorists are urged to follow the directions of traffic control personnel.
“Access to Shelly Bay Marketplace will be maintained at all times. However, motorists are encouraged to avoid the affected route and use alternative detour routes via Harrington Sound Road.
“Those travelling through the area should expect delays and be reminded to proceed cautiously.”
