Notice Of Entitlement To Time Off From Work To Vote
In accordance with section 36[3] of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, every
Parliamentary elector whose name appears in the parliamentary register for a
Constituency in respect of which a contested parliamentary election is held shall, if he is
in employment, be entitled to receive from his employer without penalty sufficient time
off work on the polling day to enable him to travel to the election room and there record
his vote.

Notice Of Advanced Poll For Absent Voters
An Advanced Poll will be held at the Allen Temple AME Church Hall, Sandys on September 27, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for electors eligible to vote in the bye-election for Constituency 36 Sandys North and intending to be absent from Bermuda, or to travel to or from Bermuda, on Polling Day.
Voters will be required to go directly to the polling station to receive an advanced poll certificate. Those traveling must come with a hard copy of their confirmed travel documents, along with photo identification. Digital copies will not be accepted. Further information on requirements for travellers can be found on Parliamentary Registry’s website, at www.elections.gov.bm .

Notice Of Advanced Poll For Incapacitated Voters
An Advanced Poll will be held at the Allen Temple AME Church Hall, Sandys on 27 September 2024 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for electors eligible to vote in the Constituency 36 Sandys North bye-election but who are unable or likely to be unable, by reason either of illness, infirmity, or disability, to travel to the election room on Polling Day.
In order to vote at this advanced poll, incapacitated electors are required to request a certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner certifying their incapacity. Application for these certificates should be made at the office of the registered medical practitioner of choice. The registered medical practitioner will forward the certificate to the Parliamentary Registrar prior to the closing date set out by the Parliamentary Registrar.
