Woman Injured In Single Vehicle Collision
[Updated] Police responded to a single vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish this morning.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:55am Monday, 30th September 2024, police officers responded to a reported single vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish.
“Details remain limited at this time.
“However, it is understood that a woman was hurt in the collision, which occurred near Winton Hill.
“The extent of her injuries is unclear at this time.
“Traffic diversions are currently in place at the junctions of North Shore Road and Fractious Street, as well as North Shore Road and Radnor Road, while the scene is processed.
“Updates will be provided when more information is available.
“Any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”
Update 12.09pm: A police spokesperson said, “Normal traffic flow resumed in the Winton Hill, Hamilton parish area around 11:10am Monday. The injured motorcyclist, believed to be a woman in her 30s, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. An update on her medical condition is anticipated in due course. Any witnesses are once again encouraged to call 211.”
