Two Vehicle Collision On Harbour Road
[Updated] A two vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle occurred this afternoon [Sept 29] on Harbour Road in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:20pm Sunday, 29th September 2024, police officers responded to a reported two vehicle collision on Harbour Road in Warwick.
“Details remain limited at this time.
“However, it is understood that a car and a motorcycle collided near Darrell’s Wharf, resulting in the female rider being hurt.
“The extent of her injuries is unclear at this time.
“Traffic diversions are currently in place at the junctions of Harbour Road and Cobbs Hill Road, as well as Harbour Road and Morgan Road, while the scene is processed.
“Updates will be provided when more information is available.
“Any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”
Update 5.05pm: The police said, “Traffic diversions are no longer in effect. The injured rider, believed to be a 45-year-old Warwick woman, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. An update on her medical condition is anticipated in due course. Any witnesses are once again encouraged to call 211.”
