Results: BFA First & Premier Division Football

Footballers in both the BFA First Division and Premier Division were in action this weekend, with St. David’s, PHC Zebras, North Village Rams & St. George’s Colts all earning wins.

First Division

St. David’s 3 Southampton Rangers 1

At Lord’s in St. David’s, the home team defeated the Southampton Rangers 3 – 1.

After a scoreless first half, Keishen Bean gave St. David’s the lead in the 67th minute when he converted from the penalty spot. Bean doubled the St. David’s lead in the 78th minute, and then Aaron Paynter made it 3 – 0 to St. David’s in the 86th minute. Kevon Douglas pulled a goal back for the Southampton Rangers in the 87th minute.

Premier Division

PHC Zebras 11 Wolves 2

At the PHC Stadium, the PHC Zebras scored five times in the first 45 minutes, and then scored six times in the second 45 minutes to earn a 11 – 2 win over Wolves.

The PHC Zebras got a hat-trick from Haile Eve, Jahiem Iris added 2 goals, while D’Andre Wainwright, Kadeem Abraham, Daren Usher, Jayden Ebbin, Haelem Bean-Fox and Antonio Wade all added a goal each.

Khari Sharieff and Marcus Ming scored a lone goal each for Wolves.

Dandy Town Hornets 0 North Village Rams 1

At the BAA Field, the North Village Rams edged the Dandy Town Hornets 1 – 0.

Jonte Smith scored the lone goal of the match in the 14th minute in his first appearance of the season.

Young Men Social Club 1 St. George’s Colts 3

At the Police Field, the St. George’s Colts picked up their first league win of the season defeating Young Men Social Club 3 – 1.

Young Men Social Club took the lead in the first minute, when Micah Hardtman found the back of the net, but Blaiz Hall would equalize for the St. George’s Colts in the 11th minute, Hall would then give the St. George’s Colts a 2 – 1 lead when he found the back of the net in the 45th minute, they would take that lead to the break.

the St. George’s Colts would extend their lead to 3 – 1 in the 61st minute when Jarryd Richardson found the back of the net to earn them the three points.
