Video: Sunday Oct 13th “Good News” Spotlight
News that the Bermuda football team defeated Dominica by a score of 6-1, Daren Bascome received a 2024 AIGA Boston Fellow Award, and Appleby welcomed Skye Burrows, Mya Gibbons, and Akira McDonald to its legal trainee programme were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Bermudian footballer Jasmine Spence scored her fifth goal in three games, Reggie Lambe scored in his Needham Market debut as they defeated South Shields 3 – 0, Gabriella Cechini finished second while competing in Lehigh University’s Paul Short cross country run, Christian Ebbin helped Tulane University achieve an impressive victory in sailing at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship, and the Anglican Parish of St. George held the Blessing of the Animals ceremony.
