News that Bermuda earned the top spot in the Condé Nast Traveler awards for Best Island in the Caribbean and Atlantic, Keeron Wilson’s inspiring journey as a boatbuilder at SailGP Technologies in England was highlighted, the L.F. Wade International Airport won two awards and Deneka Borden was appointed as the Chairperson of the BRFU Referees’ Society, were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Sarah Kempe Cooper recently appeared as a contestant on the popular British television quiz show The Chase,  Jessica Burns has launched The Retreat House at Southern Views and  Blake Montgomery produced a scintillating display for the Lincoln Stars, scoring the overtime winner in their 5-4 win.
