Berkeley Wins Over 16 Netball Tournament
The Berkeley Institute triumphed in the BSSF Senior School Over 16 Netball Tournament.
A spokesperson said, “The Berkeley Institute won the BSSF senior school over 16 netball tournament after defeating CedarBridge Academy 20-10 in the final. Makaylie Smith led Berkeley to victory with 14 goals. Sioma Rudo added four while Ra’eesah Robinson chipped in with two. CedarBridge was led by Jamir Hatherley who scored 6 goals for the silver medalists. Other CedarBridge scorers were Nai’Lah Barclay with three zand Sydney Santos with one. Warwick Academy and Saltus Red went on the tie 7-7 in the third place match
“CedarBridge Academy reached the final after defeating Warwick Academy 19-3 while the champions eased past Saltus Red 14-4 in the other semi final.
“Saltus Red squeaked past Somersfield Academy 8-7 in the first round of the knockout phase of the tournament while Warwick Academy overcame Saltus White 10-3
