Inclement Weather Impacts Netball Schedule
Due to inclement weather, the Bermuda Netball Association’s schedule was significantly impacted, with only the 11 & Under Division and one match in the 14 & Under Division taking place.
11 & Under Division
Storm Lightning: Honor White secured the best attacker accolade, with Tamirra Richardson was the best defender, and Mo’Lai Bean-Burch was named the team’s MVP.
Storm Thunder: Pashshun Martin received the best attacker award, Gabriella Babon was named best defender, and Kimora Davy earned the MVP accolade.
Phoenix Sparks: Brayden Morrison was recognized as the best attacker, Solae Riveas was the best defender, and Quin Burgess was the team’s MVP.
Dandy Stars: Arianna Parra earned recognition as the best attacker, while Naiah Rayner was named best defender, and A’Nylah Tucker was the MVP.
14 & Under Division
In the sole 14 & Under Division match, Storm secured a convincing 17 – 2 victory over the North Village Rams.
Hailey Oduori and Sa-Qurity Warner, named best attacker, led the scoring for Storm with 8 goals each. Tatum Darrell contributed the remaining goal. Annabel Olutiola was recognized as best defender, and Amirah Trott was named Most Valuable Player for Storm.
Dani Brown scored both goals for the North Village Rams. Keiazha Smith was named best attacker, Starr Smith was awarded best defender, and Riley Jones received MVP honors for the North Village Rams.
