Netball: Storm Defeat Phoenix Heat
The Storm defeated the Phoenix Heat 30-25 in a closely contested netball match. The Storm maintained a steady lead throughout the game, with scores of 8-6, 18-12, and 23-20 at the end of the first three quarters.
Selah Tuzo led the Storm’s attack with 13 goals, followed by Inshan-nae Smith with 8 goals, and Nabiilah Nasir with 7. For the Heat, K’Xiyae Gibbons was the top scorer with 16 goals, while Eshé Grant contributed 9.
Despite a strong performance by Heat’s Stacia Ming, who earned the MVP award for her team, the Storm ultimately secured the win. Inshan-nae Smith was named MVP for the Storm.
