One Communications Warns Of Telephone Scam
One Communications advised of a reported telephone scam and reminded customers that they “will never request password or other information related to their accounts via phone calls, text messages, or emails.”
A statement on the company’s social media account said, “Please be advised of a reported telephone scam. Should you receive a call from “One” asking for any information related to your account, computers, or personal information, please hang up and do not provide the caller with any information.
“We wish to remind our customers that we will never request password or other information related to their accounts via phone calls, text messages, or emails. If there is ever any uncertainty regarding communications received, we encourage you to contact us directly by calling our Customer Care number 700-7000 for verification.”
