Planet Math Working To Secure New Space
Planet Math Bermuda said they must leave their current location, and said as ”we work to secure a new home, we invite anyone with access to a centrally located space suitable for educational use—with several rooms that could serve as classrooms—to consider partnering with us to support our mission.”
A spokesperson said, “Planet Math Bermuda is preparing for a significant transition, so it is with a heavy heart that we must leave our current location, which we have called home since our inception. This change, effective January 2025, will require us to relocate, and we are actively working to secure a new space to continue serving the Bermuda community as seamlessly as possible.
“For nearly eight years, Planet Math has been more than just a tutoring center; we have become a trusted resource for students seeking to strengthen their mathematical skills and confidence. Over this time, we have proudly supported over 1,500 students, helping them overcome academic challenges and discover the excitement of learning math.
“Our commitment to education goes beyond the classroom. Through our weekly radio quiz, we bring the community together with fun, engaging math challenges that foster a love for learning. Our Mathathon has reached over 3,000 children, inspiring students across Bermuda to embrace math in exciting and interactive ways.
“Thousands of children have also participated in our math camps over the years, enjoying hands-on experiences that make math both enjoyable and memorable. Additionally, our Parent-Teacher Association [PTA] meetings have provided valuable guidance to parents, empowering them with tips to support their children’s success in math.
“Planet Math was able to extend its offerings and massively impact students with the formation of the Planet Math Foundation [Planet Math's charitable arm]. Since its inception in 2021, the Planet Math Foundation has made a significant impact on the educational landscape of Bermuda through its scholarship programs and free tutorial services. Through our charitable wing, we have awarded over 600+ scholarships for our Summer Camps and 200+ tutorial bursaries.
“We are deeply grateful to the Bermuda community for embracing our mission. The connections we have forged with families, schools, corporate companies, both international and local organizations have been essential to our impact, and we look forward to continuing these relationships as we navigate this transition.

Such a space would enable Planet Math to keep delivering the educational resources that so many students rely on and allow us to continue expanding our programs to reach even more of Bermuda’s children.
