Remembrance Day Trash Collection Advisory

The City of Hamilton has announced the garbage collection schedule for Remembrance Day Weekend.

A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton wishes to advise City businesses and residents that garbage collection will be scheduled on the following dates during the Remembrance Day Weekend:

• Friday November 8th – Last collection for residents; collection as normal for bars and restaurants
• Saturday November 9th – Collection as normal for bars and restaurants
• Sunday November 10th – Collection as normal for bars and restaurants
• Monday November 11th – Collection for bars and restaurants only
• Tuesday November 12 – Normal garbage collection will resume for everyone

“All garbage should be placed on the sidewalks or designated garbage areas by the time indicated in the Refuse Collection Schedule.

“Please do not place garbage out for collection unless a collection is scheduled for that day.”
