Alexis Richens Places Second In Bahamas
Physique athlete Alexis Richens achieved a second-place finish in the bikini class at the NPC Worldwide Royal Grand Prix Bahamas Pro Qualifier in Nassau at the weekend.
Richens said she made significant improvements from her competition debut last summer at the NPC Worldwide Royal Grand Prix Bermuda, where she won the overall bikini class title.
“We had a short turnaround after the Royal Grand Prix Bermuda to prepare for this show,” Richens wrote on social media.
“I’m happy with what we’re able to accomplish. We know what needs to be done next time. Thank you to my coaches [Miami-based Alex Ramirez and Rosemary Jennings]!
“Thank you everyone for your continued support.”
The 31-year-old, who trains at Elite Fitness on Woodlands Road, is the co-owner of Jackson’s School of Performing Arts in Hamilton.
