“The format of the CEA RJC provides an opportunity for local show jumpers to measure their equestrian jumping skills against riders from other Caribbean countries including Jamaica, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Haiti as well as Trinidad and Tobago. Each participating CEA country hosts its own rounds of the CEA jumping competition, thus avoiding the logistical challenge of having to travel overseas.
“The 2024 CEA RJC Bermuda team consist of the following 1st place winners in their respective height divisions:
- Samantha Cooper riding Kamei Ruf [.85m]
- Courtney Bromby riding Worth the Wait [.95m]
- Michael Rodrigues riding Rambo [[1.05m]
“Bermuda competitors must now wait until 2025 for the results of the Overall Country and Individual standings. Overall Standings will be determined once the remaining Caribbean countries have had an opportunity to complete their jumping rounds. Participating countries have until 31st December in which to hold competitions.”
