Career In Corrections Info Session On Thursday
The Department of Corrections will host a Public Information Session on Thursday [Dec 12] at Bermuda College to share insights into a career as a Corrections Officer.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Corrections invites all interested individuals to attend a Public Information Session on Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the H100 Athene Lecture Theatre at Bermuda College.
“This event is part of the department’s ongoing recruitment campaign to hire Corrections Officers. The application process commenced on 22 November, and applicants have until 31 December to apply.
“The information session is an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn more about the vital role of corrections officers in ensuring Bermuda’s security.
“Participants will gain insight into the position, the rewards and benefits of a career in corrections, and the opportunities for training, growth, and professional development within the department.”
“This is more than just a job,” said a Department of Corrections spokesperson. “Corrections officers play an essential role in safeguarding our community and making Bermuda a safer place for everyone.
