After several weather-related disruptions, the Bermuda Netball Association finally enjoyed a full day of action across various age divisions.

11 & Under Division: 

The non-competitive 11 & Under division saw promising young players showcase their skills. Xela Hall [Storm Lightning], Tabitha Ball [North Village Lady Rams], Kimora Davy [Storm Thunder], and Arianna Parra [Dandy Stars] were all recognized as their teams’ best attackers. On the defensive end, Honor White [Storm Lightning], Davi Wade [North Village Lady Rams], Gabriela Babon [Storm Thunder], and Savee Dowling [Dandy Stars] stood out. Tamirra Richardson [Storm Lightning], Nylah Hardtman [North Village Lady Rams], Dayah Dill [Storm Thunder], and A’Nylah Tucker [Dandy Stars] earned MVP honours for their all-around contributions.

14 & Under Division:

The Phoenix Embers dominated the Dandy Stars with a resounding 41-0 victory in the 14 & Under Division. Zyaki Lawerence led the scoring with 18 goals, followed by Shiloh Simmions with 15 and Azariah Scott with 8. Kenzie McCreary was recognized as the best defender for the Phoenix Embers. For the Dandy Stars, Arianna Parra-Delgada and Kiera Trott were named best attacker and best defender, respectively.

18 & Under Division:

The 18 & Under Division featured closely fought matches. The Storm edged the Phoenix Fire 36-34, thanks to a 24-goal haul from Jamir Hatherly. Jazya Brimmer-Peets added 10 goals for the Storm. Rayna Abbott and Keyahnee Burgess were named best attacker and best defender, respectively, for the Storm. Sydney Santos [14 goals] and Kammie Mills [13 goals] led the scoring for the Phoenix Fire. Uni Simmons was named MVP and best defender for the Phoenix Fire.

The DC Diamonds narrowly defeated the North Village Lady Rams 24-22. E’Rynn Paynter [14 goals] and Cindi-Anna Darrell [10 goals] led the scoring for the DC Diamonds. Jaleiyah Johnston and Saajida Daniels were named best defender and MVP, respectively, for the DC Diamonds. Ra’eesah Robinson [14 goals] was the top scorer for the North Village Lady Rams. Nevaeh Swan and Zipporah Grant were named best attacker and MVP & best defender, respectively, for the North Village Lady Rams.

Senior Division: 

The North Village Rams cruised to a 71-10 victory over Hamilton Parish, with Zhanae Simmons leading the way with 34 goals. Coriah Simmons added 20 goals for the North Village Rams. Mali Smith was named best defender for the North Village Rams. Shayna Simmons [8 goals] was the top scorer for Hamilton Parish.

The Tigers secured a 48-25 win over the Phoenix Heat, with Jahkenya Trott scoring 35 goals. Jahtuere Trott added 13 goals for the Tigers. Khianda Pearman-Watson and Micah Pond were named best defender and MVP, respectively, for the Tigers. Kammie Mills [15 goals] and Eshe’ Grant [10 goals] led the scoring for the Phoenix Heat.

The St. George’s Lady Colts defeated the Dockies 48-19, with Nisaiah Berkeley scoring 31 goals. Kristen Holmes added 10 goals for St. George’s. Stacy Brown, Sarafina Woolridge-Burns, and Jasmaine Adams were named best attacker, best defender, and MVP, respectively, for St. George’s. Meghan Sherwin [14 goals] was the top scorer for the Dockies.
