Mount Saint Agnes Unveils New Playground
Mount Saint Agnes Academy is celebrating the grand opening of its brand-new playground structure.
A spokesperson said, “The play equipment offers an imaginative space for students to engage in physical activity, socialize, and develop essential skills.
“The new structure is designed to inspire creativity and encourage active play, aligning with MSA’s Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. This approach emphasizes child-centered learning, inquiry-based experiences, and the importance of play. The playground features a variety of climbing challenges, slides, and interactive play elements that encourage exploration, problem solving, and sensory experiences.
“The Home and School Association played a crucial role in funding this project, demonstrating their commitment to providing exceptional learning opportunities for MSA’s students. Their generous support has helped to create a space where children can learn and grow through play.”
“We are incredibly grateful to the Home and School Association for their invaluable contribution to this project,” said Anna Faria-Machado, Principal at MSA.
The spokesperson said, “Located in the Early Learning Center area, the new playground structure is a valuable addition to the school’s campus and will undoubtedly bring joy to lower elementary students for years to come.”
