Parsons Finishes 5th & 6th At Invitational
UMBC senior Za’Kayza Parsons placed fifth in the 60-meter dash and sixth in the long jump at the St. John’s University Youree Spence-Garcia invitational on Friday.
Parsons clocked a time of 7.80 seconds in the 60-meter dash, finishing fourth in her heat. Her time was the fifth-fastest overall in the event.
In the long jump, Parsons recorded a leap of 5.42 meters [17 feet, 9.50 inches] on her third attempt.
