Photos & Video: Kwanzaa Celebration Held
A free Kwanzaa celebration was held this weekend at the new Treehouse in Hamilton, featuring refreshments and activities including a vendor’s market, tours, a mini Kwanzaa workshop and more.
A spokesperson previously said, ““Kwanzaa is a time for families and communities to come together to remember the past and to celebrate African culture. In Bermuda, we have a heritage of the African Diaspora/MAAFA, and therefore we celebrate Kwanzaa as an opportunity to celebrate ourselves and our history and imagine a better future.”
