‘Santa’s Coming To Town’ On December 14
‘Santa’s Coming to Town’ returns to King’s Square, St. George’s, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM, with festive cheer and entertainment.
A spokesperson said, “The Corporation of St. George’s is delighted to announce the return of Santa’s Coming to Town, a magical evening brimming with holiday cheer and community spirit. Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at 6:00 PM in King’s Square, St. George’s.”
“We warmly invite residents of all ages to join us in King’s Square as we welcome Santa to St. George’s,” said Mayor Quinell Francis.
The spokesperson said, “The event promises a joyful lineup of family-friendly activities, including fun castles, holiday toy stall, and a variety of delicious offerings from local food vendors. Guests will also enjoy vibrant performances by majorettes, dancers, and Bermuda’s iconic Gombeys. Hosting the evening is the ever-popular MC, Ms. Patrina “Power Girl” Paynter, with music by DJ ICEMAN, renowned for creating an upbeat, festive atmosphere.”
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 400 years of history, St. George’s is proud to celebrate traditions that unite the community. “In a rapidly changing world, it’s comforting to have events like this that bring people together and allow us to pass on cherished traditions,” said Mayor Francis. “The talent on display and the dedication of the Corporation of St. George’s team truly capture the heart of what makes our town special.”
