Youth Employment Programme Deadline
The Department of Workforce Development has extended the deadline for the 2025 Youth Employment Programmes to December 31, 2024.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Workforce Development [DWD] is pleased to announce that the application deadline for the 2025 Youth Employment Programmes [YEP] has been extended to December 31, 2024. All students aged 16 to 26 looking for summer employment are encouraged to take advantage of this extension and apply.
“The Youth Employment Programmes are perfect for young Bermudians looking to:
- Gain hands-on work experience.
- Expand their professional networks.
- Build leadership and decision-making skills.
“Please note the following eligibility requirements for the programme.
Summer Internship Programme [High School Students]:
- Be Bermudian or Hold Bermudian status
- Be 16 years of age and no older than 18 years of age as of June 30, 2024
Summer Internship Programme [College or University Students]:
- Be Bermudian or Hold Bermudian status
- Be enrolled in college or university as of 1 December 2024
- Have a current minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent [UK Pass]
