Age Concern Launches Mental Health Survey
Age Concern Bermuda has launched a Mental Health Needs Assessment Survey “aimed at taking a closer look at how we can improve the mental health and well-being of older adults in our community.”
A spokesperson said, “This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our programmes and services address the unique needs and priorities of Bermuda’s aging population.
“The survey seeks to gather valuable insights into the mental health status, challenges, and preferences for support among older adults in Bermuda. By participating in the survey, community members will directly contribute to the development of impactful mental health education sessions and services tailored to the needs of our older population.
“Community participation is vital. The information you provide will guide us in designing programmes that truly make a difference in the lives of older adults. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of mental health support for our community.
“Older adults in Bermuda, their caregivers or family members are encouraged to participate in this survey. We aim to identify mental health needs, challenges, and preferences for education and support. All responses will remain confidential and will only be used for program development purposes.
“To participate, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q9DGBPF to complete the survey online. Deadline: January 31, 2025.
“Age Concern Bermuda remains steadfast in our mission to empower, support, and advocate for older adults. By completing this survey, participants will play an essential role in helping us build a stronger, healthier community.
