Love Is Love Donates $2,000 In Gift Cards
Love is Love Bermuda, in partnership with Island Restaurant Group, raised $2,000 during their September 2024 Oktoberfest event, donating $1,000 in gift cards each to Home Bermuda and Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, while gearing up for their February 2025 Pre-Valentine’s fundraiser.
A spokesperson said, “On January 15th Love is Love Bermuda delivered gift cards to Home Bermuda and Kaleidoscope following their Oktoberfest fundraiser event on September 29th 2024 in partnership with Island Restaurant Group [IRG]. Following the event Love is Love was able to raise $1000 to which IRG matched for a total of $2000.
“Home Bermuda received $1000 worth of gift cards from The Marketplace/Price Rite and The Phoenix Stores split evenly Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation received $1000 from The Stationery Store and Bermuda Bookstore.
“This follows Love is Love Bermuda donating $1500.00 worth of gift cards from The Marketplace and BELCO on December 24th 2024 to Bermuda Foster Parents Association for foster parents in need for the holidays. These funds were as a result Love is Love’s Ugly Sweater Brunch at Bolero Brasserie on December 8th 2024.
“We are always grateful to donate to charities and will continue to do so for our upcoming Pre Valentines Sunday Funday event on February 9th 2025 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Rosa’s Cantina. The event will feature a charity raffle whereas proceeds raised will be donated to Tomorrow’s Voices, an early intervention centre for children with autism and developmental disabilities. Prizes to be announced closer to the date.
“Tickets for the event are $15 until January 31st and will increase to $25 from February 1st and are available on ptix.bm.
