The Parliamentary Registry Office advised that the nomination of candidates for the 2025 General Election will take place from 11am to 1pm on Friday [Jan 31] at the MSA school hall.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Parliamentary Registrar reminds that the General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

“In advance of that date, the Parliamentary Registry Office [PRO] is advising that the nomination of candidates for the 2025 General Election will take place on Friday, 31 January 2025, at Mount Saint Agnes Academy School Hall, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

“Nomination packages are available for download at elections.gov.bm.

“Candidates who are unable to attend in person and will send their Proposer or Seconder on their behalf must contact the Parliamentary Registrar immediately following nominations to arrange for their official photographs to be taken.

“This step is essential to avoid delays in the ballot paper production process. The Parliamentary Registrar can be reached at 293-8683 or via email at pro@gov.bm. For all other election-related information, the public is encouraged to elections.gov.bm.”

Following the conclusion of Nomination Day, all of the candidates for the upcoming election will be confirmed.
